Health & Safety
A Serious Business

Don’t play with fire, so the adage goes and, as fireproofing specialists, we at CLM couldn’t agree more. In the serious business of passive fire protection, it therefore stands to reason that we underpin all our services with the highest standards in health and safety. Both in the products and systems we use and in the way we use them.

One hundred percent of our operatives have CSCS cards relevant to their field of expertise and, with the use of training and proactive reviews, we ensure that all our staff are trained to the highest standards. From our most senior managers to site operatives, all within our workforce have the necessary qualifications to assist them in their daily on-site activities.

A partner you can trust: Accreditations and Certifications:
As is compliant with industry standards, our managers and supervisors are SMSTS and SSSTS Trained and all operatives are PASMA & IPAF trained where appropriate. As a rule, all operatives attend a site safety induction prior to each project.

CLM is a certified member of FIRAS, a third party certification for contractors in the passive fire protection market. A voluntary scheme which involves a great deal of time and effort to ensure that the procedures involved in installing fire protection system are maintained to an extremely high standard, it promotes confidence in quality and accountability in the individual contractors.

Despite having two fully qualified NEBOSH managers, CLM also enlist the help of an external advisor in the form of The Health & Safety People.
